Europe Travel Zine, 2023
This is a travel zine that includes a collection of photos during my 2 week trip to Paris, London, and Edinburgh the summer of 2023.
This zine is a personal project of mine that I wanted to conduct after a trip. As I recently found a hobby in photography, I thought it would be nice to create a travel zine showcasing the trip as well as some of my favorite photos taken during the time.
I compiled and edited all the photos used. I scanned coins, bills, and other papers I collected during the trip to add onto the zine. I used textures to give certain pages a more informal/casual feel and also played around with different background colors. I wanted to give the zine both a scrapbook and editorial kind of feel by mixing the two mediums and practices together.
To make the whole zine feel personal, I shared some of my thoughts about some of the places visited to add more depth to the photos and my experiences.
